Boston Red Sox outfielder Carl Crawford said he was creeped out by the club’s admission that they had investigated him before signing him.
The Red Sox said that they not only had scouts looking at Crawford on the field, but people monitoring him off of it.
Crawford didn’t seem to happy that people were spying on him away from the field, saying it was creepy.
He then admitted that the Red Sox probably felt they had an obligation to do such a thorough investigation because it was such a big investment. (Read More…)

Boston Red Sox pitcher John Lackey is ready to bounce back after a very disappointing 2010 season.
Lackey was signed to a big contract by the Red Sox and expected to be one of their top starting pitchers.
Instead, he got off to a horrible start and looked like a terrible investment for a team that needed another quality starter.
He pitched better down the stretch, but was still not able to live up to the big contract he signed in the offseason. (Read More…)
